Investment Process

Boston Ventures emphasizes depth of analysis and due diligence prior to making an investment. The Firm's focus on the media, publishing and information, entertainment, and communications sectors has enabled its team to develop in-depth knowledge of our target markets.

Once a potential portfolio company has been identified, an intensive diligence effort is undertaken to evaluate thoroughly the company’s prospects and overall investment merit.

Each investment opportunity is analyzed by a Managing Director-led team of investment professionals with relevant knowledge or relationships. As part of the Firm’s investment process, potential portfolio companies also undergo the scrutiny of the entire investment staff in the Firm’s weekly investment meetings.
