Boston Ventures to Acquire En-Touch Systems, Inc.

Boston, MA and Houston, TX – September 19, 2006 – Boston Ventures announced today that it has reached an agreement to acquire a substantial majority interest in En-Touch Systems, Inc. from several family trusts, in partnership with existing management.  Founded in 1996, En-Touch is a broadband services provider serving communities in the rapidly growing suburbs of Houston, Texas.  This will be the first investment out of Boston Ventures Fund VII, its latest investment vehicle. 

Lou Bertocci, a partner at Boston Ventures, commented “En-Touch has been tremendously successful in marketing a quadruple-play of communication services including internet, cable TV, telephone, and security alarm monitoring within its targeted communities.  We believe the company is well positioned to continue to grow its business within the greater Houston market and elsewhere.”  Boston Ventures has been an active investor in the communications sectors for over 20 years, and has made over a dozen cable television related investments.

Upon completion of the transaction, which is subject to customary federal and state regulatory approvals, Lou Bertocci, Roy Coppedge, and Marco Ferrari will join the Board of Directors of En-Touch Systems.
